Argosy University Online Applying for Aid
Apply Yourself. It's Easy.
Whether you're a new student or a returning student in good academic standing, applying for financial aid to attend Argosy University is simple.
Starting early each January, new students can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Argosy University Financial Aid Application help determine the amount of assistance for which you are eligible. This analysis takes into account income, assets, number of family members in the household, and number of family members enrolled in college.
Current students who want to renew their aid will receive PINs from the Department of Education so they can fill out the Renewal FAFSA form at the same web address. All students must complete FAFSA form each year in order to receive financial aid. Make sure you include Argosy University's federal school code (021799).
The financial aid year begins with the Summer Semester. Eligibility is determined by the application process as outlined below, and by meeting the eligibility requirements outlined in the catalog. Students must be enrolled at least half-time per semester, and maintain satisfactory academic progress, to receive most types of financial aid.
Four Simple Steps.
1. Complete the Argosy University Application for Financial Aid within the Argosy University Online Programs Application Center at https://apply.argosy.edu/
2. Obtain a Pin number from the U.S. Department of Education. Use your Pin when completing your FAFSA on the Web.
If you do not have a PIN, you can request one at
www.pin.ed.gov.
3. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online using FAFSA on the Web at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
It takes approximately 3-4 days to process your FAFSA on the Web.
For more information on these web sites, you may call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at (800) 4FED-AID.
The FAFSA is used to collect personal and financial information. This information is used to calculate your need and determine your eligibility for financial aid. You are required to submit this application to be considered for federal aid and for most state-funded aid. If you are an undergraduate, your eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant will also be determined.
