As a student at Argosy University, an academic advisor will help you successfully navigate and complete your educational journey. An academic advisor will help you design the appropriate plan to meet your educational objectives, resolve problems, and counsel you throughout your matriculation. The advisor will monitor academic performance, assist students in becoming self-directed learners, and clarify institutional policies and procedures. Simply stated, academic advisors are full-time student advocates.

A key element in the academic success of a student is the relationships that the student establishes with the faculty. This relationship oftentimes makes the difference for a student when faced with the ups and downs of graduate education. Knowing this, we will assign a Faculty Advisor to all Doctoral students that enter Argosy University online programs. The Faculty Advisor will assist in dissertation planning and career planning, help clarify institutional policies and procedures, monitor academic performance, and will generally provide the support and guidance that students need to feel connected to the Argosy University community.
Argosy University offers a 24-hour Classroom Technical Help Desk if you have any technical questions. As a student you will be able to reach the Classroom Technical Help Desk by phone and online anytime.
