Academic Advising
As a student at Argosy University, an academic advisor will help you successfully navigate and complete your educational journey. An academic advisor will help you design the appropriate plan to meet your educational objectives, resolve problems, and counsel you throughout your matriculation. Together with a mentor professor, the advisor will monitor academic performance, assist students in becoming self-directed learners, and clarify institutional policies and procedures. Simply stated, academic advisors are full-time student advocates.
Mentor Professors
A key element in the academic success of a student is the relationships that she strikes with the faculty. This relationship oftentimes makes the difference for a student when faced with the ups and downs of undergraduate and graduate education. Knowing this, we will assign a mentor professor to all students that enter Argosy University online programs. The mentor professor will assist in dissertation planning and career planning, help clarify institutional policies and procedures, monitor academic performance, and will generally provide the support and guidance that students need to feel connected to the Argosy University community.
24-Hour Classroom Technical Support
Argosy University offers a 24-hour Classroom Technical Help Desk if you have any technical questions. As a student you will be able to reach the Classroom Technical Help Desk by phone and online anytime.
