Welcome to the Office of Career Services. We support Argosy University students and alumni in identifying and making practical career choices.

Our office develops and maintains relationships with employers and alumni. We offer a wide range of career services that connect our student community and graduates with prospective employers and alumni. The role of the Office of Career Services is to assist you with all aspects of your career needs. Eligible students or alumni may seek employment information through our office.

Career search assistance includes:

  • Career Counseling: Receive individual assistance with career planning and exploration, while developing short and long-term career goals.
  • Job Search Advising: Career counselors may assist you with the entire job search process including where to look for jobs and how to prepare job search correspondence.
  • Web Resources: A variety of online resources are available to help you research job opportunities, write a resume or curriculum vitae, explore volunteer opportunities, and prepare for the job search process.
  • Online Job Listing Database: Our online job database, powered by Indeed.com, is updated daily. This job database includes volunteer, part-time, full-time and post-doctoral opportunities.

These services will be conducted online or by phone.

Additional career assistance includes:

  • Resume Curriculum Vitae and Cover Letter Assistance: Receive feedback and advice on how to make your resume, curriculum vitae or cover letter stand out.
  • Workshops and Programs: A variety of career-related workshops and programs on various topics are offered throughout the school year.
  • Interview Coaching: Discuss questions and concerns regarding the interview process and receive feedback and strategies for interviewing more effectively.
  • Salary Negotiation Skills and Managing Job Offers: Learn specific strategies for effectively negotiating salary and benefits, one of the most essential as well as overlooked aspects of the job search process.
  • Informational Interviewing and Networking: Informational interviewing is an effective way to gather valuable job search information and advice while building your professional network. Through the Argosy University Alumni Career Network, you can conduct an interview with an alumnus in your chosen career path.
