Doctoral Residency Experience

Benefits Of The Residency Program

Doctoral students complete two residencies during the course of their program. These three-day events allow students to meet at regional locations face-to-face with peers in their own program, students in other programs, and with faculty.

These students will be introduced to the comprehensive exam and the dissertation process to help them tackle both with confidence. They will also develop skills in academic writing, time management and organization, and have access to academic and financial aid advising. Argosy residencies are essential waypoints for students as they follow their path toward successful completion of their programs.
