Master of Business Administration Admissions Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, a nationally accredited institution approved and documented by the faculty and dean of the College of Business and Information Technology, or an appropriately certified foreign institution.
  • A grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) for the last 60 hours of coursework (including graduate work) OR a 2.7 cumulative grade point average.
  • A minimum written TOEFL® score of 213 (computer version), 550 (paper version), or 61 (internet version) is required of applicants whose native language is not English or who have not graduated from an institution at which English is the language of instruction
  • Completed Application for Admission
  • $50 Application fee (non-refundable)
  • Documentation of current employment with or access to a professional organization
  • Official transcripts from all postsecondary schools attended
  • Personal/professional goal statement
  • Students who do not meet the minimum GPA requirement must also submit the following:
    • Current résumé (or career summary)
    • The names and contact information of three professional and/or academic references
  • Note: Applicants with grade point averages lower than the stated program minimums will be considered for admission on an exception basis with significant evidence of academic and professional potential. This potential may be demonstrated by the career and/or personal accomplishments indicated in the statement of academic and professional goals, the career summary, and academic or professional letters of recommendation. Exceptions must be recommended by the Admissions Committee and approved by the Campus Dean or Program Chair. Students admitted on an exception basis will be admitted as regular students on first term probation.

MAEd in Educational Leadership and MAEd in Instructional Leadership Admissions Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, a nationally accredited institution approved and documented by the faculty and dean of the College of Education and Human Development, or an appropriately certified foreign institution.
  • A grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) for the last 60 hours of coursework (including graduate work) OR a 2.7 cumulative grade point average.

EdD in Counseling Psychology Admissions Requirements

  • A master's degree in a license-eligible mental health field (i.e. counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy) from a regionally accredited institution or an appropriately certified foreign institution.
  • A grade point average of at least 3.25 (on a scale of 4.0) in work leading to the master's degree, and in any subsequent graduate study.
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version), and 79 (Internet version) for all applicants whose native language is not English or who have not graduated from an institution at which English is the language of instruction.
